This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through GDL Autoparts.

Order Processing

We aim to process orders as quickly as possible.

Processing times may vary depending on stock availability, supplier availability, order size, payment clearance and whether the item is a special order.

If an item is out of stock or delayed, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Shipping Areas

We ship within Australia.

For international shipping enquiries, please contact us before placing an order.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout where available.

Some products may require a custom shipping quote due to size, weight, location, dangerous goods classification, or courier restrictions.

Large, heavy or bulky items may incur additional freight charges.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on your location, courier availability, public holidays, weather events, stock availability and other factors outside our control.

We do not guarantee delivery dates unless this has been agreed in writing.

Bulky and Heavy Items

Some automotive parts are large, heavy or awkward to transport.

Bulky items may need to be sent by freight carrier rather than standard courier or post.

Delivery to some residential addresses, rural areas or remote locations may require additional charges or depot collection.

Authority to Leave

If you request authority to leave, the parcel may be left unattended at your nominated address.

Once a parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier, GDL Autoparts is not responsible for theft, loss or damage caused after delivery, unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

Incorrect Address Details

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.

GDL Autoparts is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, redelivery fees, return fees or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer.

If an order is returned to us due to incorrect address details, additional shipping charges may apply before the order is resent.

Damaged Deliveries

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your order arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible with:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • Photos of the damaged item

  • Photos of the packaging

  • Details of the issue

Do not throw away the packaging until the issue has been reviewed, as the courier may require it for assessment.

Missing or Lost Deliveries

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time, contact us and we will assist with tracking or lodging an enquiry with the carrier.

Delivery investigations can take time and are handled in accordance with the carrier’s process.

Pickup

Where pickup is available, we will contact you when your order is ready.

Please do not attend for pickup until you have received confirmation that your order is ready to collect.

Special Order Items

Special order items may have longer processing and delivery times.

Once ordered, special order items may not be able to be cancelled, returned or refunded for change of mind, incorrect choice, or incorrect customer-supplied vehicle information.

This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
