Jeep Grand Cherokee Engine Bay Access

The Jeep Grand Cherokee has a long list of common faults. Many of which are easy enough to rectify if only there was some extra space in the engine bay.

Gaining access to the turbo charger, heater hoses , the coolant hose in the valley and many other repairs would be so much easier if you could get down the back of the engine.

Good news, the engine bay access space can almost double if you remove the plastic cowling (also referred to as a fake firewall).

With the removal of the wipers, wiper cowling and wiper motor the large plastic barrier can be removed with three ten mill bolts and one nut.
