Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 Diesel Reconditioned Engine

Up until now, rebuild options for the WK2 diesel were very limited. It is believed that this is due to the patents in place from the Italian manufacturer of these engines and his unwillingness to release details around engine internals. How accurate this is or not is unknown but what is known is that getting parts for these rebuilds has been next to impossible.

It seems we may have found a solution to this. We have been able to outsource these builds to a company in Melbourne who are able to recondition these motors. Below is a short video showcasing this. In this video we discuss the surface level reasons why these engines fail.
