Skipping a Service: The damage it causes.

No harm done right, what difference would it make? One service here or there shouldn't matter. This is not true. 

The Engine oil in your motor vehicle does three things. it lubricates (everybody knows that) but it also cleans and acts as a form of engine cooling. Over a period of time engine oil properties deteriorate preventing it from doing all three of these things. The result is the engine has less lubrication on metal on metal parts, less cleaning and detergent properties and the engine runs hotter. This causes the metal components to wear quicker than normal. 

At this point the oil acts as a transport devise taking fine metalic particles all through the engine.  One worn out part now destroys the whole motor. Change you oil regularly to avoid this. We pull an oil filter off an engine suspected of missing some services and cut it open. the result is obvious. This engine needs replacing because of a few missed services.
